What are you talking about?
Haven't tried before but was wondering if someone would be interested in a language exchange, or just studying Chinese Mandarin together during the weekdays around lunch time. I am hoping we could meet for one hour during my lunch time at 4pm. (don't ask why I choose 4pm) Or earlier such as noon like normal people. Doesn't matter as I can change my break time. Why during the weekdays? Aside from continuing my studies, I feel like I am wasting my time when it could be better put to use. Also, to get my mind clear of work. And … well, I work near China town so it just makes sense. What better place to learn I figure.
Who are you?
I work near Lafayette St and Canal, so we can meet near a park. About me? I'm 25, slightly shy, and am at a beginner's level. I know some pinyin but feel like I've reached the limit by myself. If you want to study together, that'd be awesome too. It would be nice to have someone in the same boat.

I will mention though I'd slightly prefer a guy (don't get the wrong idea) The thing is I've always had a thing for Chinese girls since I was a younger … of which I am unsure where it came from … currently I blame a certain kids tv show I used to watch. ANYWAY … a girl could become a distraction. But I'll take whoever really. I am just saying.

Maybe … if there's some interest and get some responses we can form a small group. Could be just me but taking one hour a day to meet others over Chinese seems like fun. Imagine a secret group of strangers getting together …
Maybe people are busy or can't make it so not sure what to expect. Do let me know something about yourself. No offense but I don' want to meet people who will be a negative influence. I have a bad habit of being easily influenced.
