Your generous contribution is exempted from Income tax read with Section 80(G) of Income Tax Act, 1961 .
Trustees are planning to Distribute Scholarship to these Blind Students & kind patronage and generous contribution towards construction of a hostel to this group
Vidya Vikasa Trust (R ) is a, Registered Public Charitable Trust Registered with Income Tax Department, Govt., of India u/s 12 A (a) of Income Tax Act 1961. is basically striving hard for Blind Students Education by Providing Financial Assistance in various Forms with the help of Public Donations . While Visually impaired Student will complete his/her education with Donor's Financial Assistance, the Donor in India gets Income-Tax exemptions benefits under 80(G) of Income-Tax Act 1961
In order to spread literacy every year from 1974 Vidya Vikasa Trust has created a Blind Students Scholarship Fund A/c from the coaching from Economically Weaker Normal Students 150 to 175 charging lowest Tuition fee & the Financial Assistance given by the philanthropists, social activists and organisations .
The Interest realized is being utilised for ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD MERITORIOUS BLIND STUDENTS by providing financial Assistance in addition to (a) Tape Recorders, (b) Detecting Walking Sticks, (c) Brail Books & Study Materials (d) Hostel Fees etc. Trust has also provided a Stage during 2007-08, for Blind Students to exhibit their talents in the field of cultural activities
Trust has always valued its friends and would not have come this far but for their constant and unstinting support.
The Trust is having a Regular audit by a Chartered Accountant to keep the ACCOUNTS TRANSPARENT.
The Trust has started to award SCHOLARSHIPS to BLIND STUDENTS not only during 2004-2005 but also during 2005-2006 & 2006-07,2007-08. So far the Trust has awarded 96 visually impaired Students of both Rural & Urban areas.
The details how Blind Students are benefited through scholarships (paid out of interest realization) from the Trust are as follows:

We have learnt about you and your involvement in pioneering various educational schemes directly or as a partner with various NGOs by providing Financial Assistance to economically backward/physically handicap more particularly blind students.
Sir,, 'We the mortals are too feeble to change the course of destiny, but yet we should Endeavour to do something, So that we may say that we have not lived in vain..'
Sir,, ,As per the medical bulletin released in T.V., by 2010 the visually impaired number will move up to 24 millions. The visually impaired students to whom trust is identifying ,supporting & distributing scholarships, belongs to high merit group in education but majority of them are economically backward. Their parents are living in remote areas of a village depending on agriculture with some land .owners. Their income is not even sufficient to meet their livelihood & giving education to their children in the excising conditions has become a dream. A visually impaired student now needs a hostel facility in his own environment .It is in this context Trust decided to Construct a Hostel for this group. This is Possible only when we the members of the society look at this situation and decides about kind patronage and generous contribution towards construction of a hostel to this group.
Now the trustees has the Plans to help visually Impaired Students by constructing a Hostel under the Name
" VIDYA VIKASA REHIBILITATION CENTRE for the BLIND" (V.V.R.C.B.,) WITH THE FOLLOWING DETAILS
(1)IN THE AREA NEARER TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
(2)THE DIMENTION OF THE SITE WILL BE 100 x 60 FT.,
ACCOMADATION IN THE INITIAL STAGE 15 ROOMS IN THE GROUND FLOOR WITH ATTACHED BOTH ROOM.
(3) 2 PERSONS ACCOMADATION PER ROOM
(4) with /garden lawn
(5)Total cost of the project estimated Rs.1.25 crores
But all these could be met only when sufficient funds are collected.
[1] We have also declared with all sincerity that funds obtained from donors are being utilized only for Blind student's activity 100%..
[2]The Trust is having account in nationalized Bank only.
[3]Trust is having PAN and the accounts returns are sent to Income Tax Dept., regularly.
[4] Accounts are kept in Transparent Condition and is audited by (a) Internal Audit (b) Statutory Audit.
[5] To be honest, even during the Board of Trustees meeting the refreshment charges are being borne by the individual Trustees from their packets and nothing is charged to Trust account.
[6] We have also created website so that donor will have complete picture of our Activities in this part of the world.
So, we are now appealing & requesting you Sir,, to join our hands through your valuable & generous contribution to Blind students Scholarship Fund & help the blind students to pursue their further studies.
